Acupressure is unique in the diagnosis of children, because young children are in- capable of speaking about their problems and many times, they cannot explain their problems. While examining children, we give smile and hold their Palm in our hand lovingly, press it lightly. The child then allow us to examine him her.
SOME COMMON PROBLEMS OF THE CHILDREN
(1) Constipation or loose motion: - In the children constipation, loose motion and pain around stomach is the common problem. These problems are mainly due to the shifting of the solar plexus. When we adjust it problem of constipation pain around stomach or loose motion get automatically corrected.
(2) Ear infection. Many breastfed children or those feeding on milk, generally get Ear infection, which we can find out by pressing a reflex point of ear and lymph gland.
(3) Thalassemia: - The child look pale - anemic and in case of any doubt, we call the parents and check them also and try to know the root cause. To cure the problem we stimulate the reflex points of spleen, anemia, degeneration of stomach, adrenal gland, gallbladder and liver etc.
(4) Diphtheria: - For curing diphtheria in the children we stimulate the reflex point of obesity, productivity organs, throat and lungs.
(5) Discharge of Saliva: - In the case of children we check the nails for the white moons. If white spots are noticed on these moons, it denotes the discharge of saliva from the mouth during sleep or sucking of their thumb or fingers.
To diagnose the problem in the children, we press the different reflex points. In case of hurting pain on the points we press, the child immediately withdraw his/ her hands or may even cry. While pressing different points on Palm /sole of a child, we keep observing in his/ her eyes. Some children stubborn and they resist, so we may not get any indication about pain, when pressing the point, but when we watch their Eyes, we observe a flicker of pain when they feel it. That gives us a clear indication about the problem.
